DERBY’S VAILLANT LIVE TO HOST GALA DINNER FOR CHARITY PARTNER NORDOFF AND ROBBINS & EAST MIDLANDS CHARITY STAR TRUST
THE STAR-STUDDED EVENING WILL BE THE FIRST OF ITS KIND AT VAILLANTLIVE, WITH PERFORMANCES FROM CHESNEY HAWKES, DJ RAZZA SIDDIQUI AND MORE
Derby’s new home of entertainment and events, Vaillant Live, is set to host a star-studded gala dinner on 12th June 2025 in support of the UK’s largest music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins and East Midlands based Star Trust. Guests will be treated to a glamorous evening filled with fun and entertainment, as well as a live performance from the one and only Chesney Hawkes. Most importantly the inaugural event will raise awareness and funds in aid of the essential work of both charities.
Following a red carpet arrival, guests will enjoy welcome drink with entertainment from a live singer, a three-course meal, entertainment from the one and only Chesney Hawkes, a raffle and auction for the chance to walk away with something a little extra, and if that’s not enough there’ll also be music from DJ Razza Siddiqui, from Gogglebox, to get everyone dancing through the night.
Vaillant Live is operated by Legends/ASM Global, who have supported the transformative work of Nordoff and Robbins since 2022 through a series of fundraising initiatives across the businesses leading portfolio of venues. The UK’s largest music therapy charity, Nordoff and Robbins employs trained music therapists across the country who help people to break through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation using the power of music. The charity reaches thousands of people every year at their bases nationwide, and by working in partnership with organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals. VaillantLive’s gala dinner is raising funds to help Nordoff and Robbins expand their services, reaching more children and adults in the Midlands.

The gala dinner will also support East Midland-based charity, Star Trust. The charity was co-founded by Steve Hampson & Tim Maxted in 2013. Today, the Star Trust remains an East Midlands-based charity, run by a board of local business owners and entrepreneurs and supported by volunteers. To date, The Star Trust has donated £918,060 and supported 126 charities across the five East Midlands counties and have touched more than 80,000 lives, priding themselves on being charitable entrepreneurs benefiting the local communities.
